Tayport Top Park

The project aim is to improve the sparsely equipped play and skate park facilities of Tayport’s ‘Top Park’ by replacing the current dated, decaying and dangerous equipment with an imaginative, well designed, fun and inclusive area of equipment and landscaping which better meets the needs of the children and young people in the community. This aim to improve the play park area within the site will also be complemented by an improvement to the existing skate park area (which currently consists of a couple of rusting metal ramps which are weakened by damage in places and dangerous when wet). The facility will also be further improved by the inclusion of a purpose designed parcour area. The aim is to provide inclusive imaginative and energetic play opportunities for all ages and physical abilities which will improve the health and social opportunities for all children in the community.
