Tean Valley Meadow Nature Reserve

Tean Valley Meadow Nature Reserve comprises of 11 acres of unimproved grassland with the original ‘ridge and furrow’ ploughing system still visible, three ‘marl’ pits and ancient hedgerows surrounding the site. The site is home to rare species including barn owls, Great Crested Newts and brown hares. This project is for minor improvements to the site to enhance the visitor experience including tools for maintenance, visual signage and CCTV protection.
