Tebay Church Community Hub

The project aims to convert the vestry of the Grade II Listed St James’ Church into a comfortable meeting place in which to organise events and learning opportunities, by removing asbestos from an adjoining boiler room to allow installation of a kitchen, disabled access toilet and storage space. Level access already exists, separate from the main church, and the proposed changes will create a more versatile facility able to provide a wider range of activities and to increase the number of visitors to the church, the hub and associated historical displays.
