Tees Street Community Play Park

To improve & enhance the current play area, which currently has old, sparse & uninspiring equipment and replace with adventurous, exploring equipment identified by youngsters in the community consultation exercise. To ensure the natural features of the current site conserve its unique landscaping. A 2nd phase is planned to develop either a community planting scheme or wildlife garden that local residents can take ownership of. To encourage community cohesion.

The current environment of the site would be improved in such a way as to preserve the existing layout. We aim to explore creative ways of providing play that will incorporate the existing aesthetic qualities which are an essential part of the project. Improving what currently exists without destroying its current environmental status is crucial to the success of the project.
