Teesside & District Society for the Blind Sensory Garden

For environmental improvement products (scented and tactile trees and shrubs and bird feeding stations to encourage local wildlife) to improve a sensory garden which was developed 7 years ago. The garden is owned / operated by Teesside and District Society for the Blind (not for profit) and will be open 5 day per week (7:30 to 3:30) – for both the users of centre and the general public. The garden is 4 miles from a landfill site and will be promoted through word of mouth and group newsletters. 260 people p.a. will access the garden for recreation / relaxation and to learn gardening skills.
