Projects / Tennis Courts for Roman Park

Tennis Courts for Roman Park

Berryfields Parish Council acquired a piece of rural wasteland which is being developed for the benefit of residents into a lovely great parkland called Roman Park. This currently hosts 52 allotments for residents only, a children’s nursery, temporary village hall, the community larder, loneliness project and community orchards. The build of the new permanent hall has started and will be open in March. The park will also have tennis courts, MUGA, viewing mound, running track and more.
If a grant was awarded we would put the funds towards the £86,000 build of the two tennis courts. The remaining amount needed would be paid for through other grants and S106 monies.

We wish to build two asphalt courts with perimeter fencing including a Gate Access System and Flood lighting.
