Tetbury Goods shed Refurbishment Project

New facilities for the whole of Tetbury, its surrounding viillages and many visitors. The Goods Shed already has a strong architecture presence and this will be preserved and enhanced by restoration of the feather-edge wooden canopy over the entrance. Its new interior will continue the Railway theme.

The Goods Shed is at the centre of parkland at the foot of Gumstool Hiill, close to the town centre. It sits at the site of the towns major annual funding raising events; The Woolsack Races and the Wacky Soapbox Derby. It is blessed with parking for 78 cars and 2 coaches – a very rare commodity in Tetbury.

We believe our proposal for the goods Shed will bring it in use for the whole community and its visitors and encourage more use of the adjacent parkland and picnic areas by walkers, joggers and cyclists.
