Teversham Parish Council

To refurbish and extend the single storey pavilion at Teversham recreation ground to encourage children, youth and adults from the local community to re-engage with existing local sports teams and start up other new activities. A small extension will be added to one side of the pavilion, with internal reordering and new facilities including the installation of disabled access and spectator toilet facilities, replacing non-functioning shared showers with private cubicles, and relocating the kitchen area to improve functionality and maximise changing area space. The building does not currently comply with Disability Act requirements or Football Association guidelines and the Parish Council have been forced to close the building to potential hirers as a result.
