Teynham Community Hall New Floor

The works include the removal of old flooring from site and recycled. Installation of new flooring and redecoration where marked or damaged by the flooring work and damp proofing on south side walls.
The project will benefit the local community by bringing a community building back into full use and extending its lifetime. The Hall is already very well used with limited capacity for new activities although these will be considered as and when they happen. History has shown that activities change over the years, for example, children’s clubs do not appear so popular but adult exercise classes, like Pilates, are. There is capacity in the Hall for new users such as may be expected from new residents from the housing estates currently being built in the area.
