Thames Sailing Barge Blue Mermaid, Sea-Change Projects Ltd (Working title Sea-Change Sailing Trust)

This is a project to complete a replica of one of the last Thames sailing barges ever built to help Sea-Change Sailing Trust expand its innovative work providing action-centred learning, environmental education and seamanship training to disadvantaged and socially excluded young people. Additionally, it works with young people with learning difficulties and vulnerable adults who benefit from an alternative approach to learning in a healthy, structured and safe yet challenging environment within the Thames estuary area.
