The Anthills project at Twywell Hills and Dales Nature Reserve

The Anthills Project will save species-rich lowland calcareous grasslands at Twywell Hills and Dales nature reserve, home to many uncommon species, including a rare red ant. It aims to restore the former quarry to an area of high wildlife value and provide optimum conditions for important species. Volunteers will also upgrade the gates and paths to maintain safe access for our visitors.
