The Barony Centre

The project involves the redevelopment and extension of the ‘c’ listed Barony Church. Not used for religious services since 1978, it is a WKCIL owned asset.

The facility will comprise of retail, exhibition, office space, cafe extension and mix of education space, workshop, media provision.

The over-arching aim is to develop a flagship regional centre of excellence, provide increased access to cultural and social activities for local residents and visitors and be of economic benefit by drawing increased visitors and build on the towns existing Visitor Attraction status as Craft Town Scotland.

Surpluses will be reinvested in maintaining the amenity.
