Sheffield Cycle Speedway Club wants to increase its facilities use, safety and family friendliness.

To increase safety the drainage, playing surface and fencing will be upgraded. This will improve safety because it will remove standing water from the facility. The fencing will prevent debris, animals and people from interrupting the activities of the riders.

The facility will have increased use and family friendliness the project will create ancillary facilities that adjacent to the facility allowing parents, friends and helpers to get involved and stay during the activities because currently, there is nowhere for people to watch, support and aid people involved in the activity.
