The BIGG Theatre Phase II

Biggleswade Arts Collective, CIC are transforming the old Town Hall at Biggleswade into a dynamic new arts destination called The BIGG Theatre, returning this iconic building to the community and providing live entertainment including Theatre, Cinema, Live Music, Live Comedy and Dance. More than providing quality entertainment, the venue will be available to the community for music lessons, dance classes, choir, creative workshops and well- being sessions. This project is for Phase 2 – the auditorium, renovating the old kitchen area to transform it into a music room and dressing room with stage access and a neighbouring accessible toilet. The flooring will be made good, and chairs and banquette seating left by the previous tenants will be repurposed as the auditorium seating. Theatre truss will be installed, along with infrastructure for lighting and sound.
