The Bishop’s Palace and Gardens, Wells

The aim of the project is to extend access to the Palace & the gardens. The areas of focus are , interpretation, the community/welfare, restoration & renovation.It will make the site more open by creating an accessible Rampart Walk, a modification of the inner staircase to fit a new lift & a new viewing point to see the swans. There will be a new café, conversion of the Old Stable Yard, displays & a new audio tour.
