The BIZ Boxing Inclusion Zone: A Police and Community Box-Fit Club (b)

A disused gymnasium will be converted into a unique “Boxercise” facility within BIZ and be a fully equipped boxing gym. Boxercise is a non-contact sport that involves exercise, discipline & motivation for 250+. This project is to provide all the necessary gym equipment.

Runnymede youth that are excluded or identified at risk of exclusion will use this facility. Pupils will be referred to the project through local Referral Units, Police & Probation Service, etc. The club will be open during school hours, evenings & Saturdays on subscription basis. Evening & Saturday access will be to general public youth (10-18 yr olds). Those pupils currently involved in the Boxercise Programme at a local school will be trained up through this project to become future fully accredited trainers.
