The Black Prince Community Hub, Lambeth - Regal Basketball Court Improvement and Insulation (008050)

The project aims to reconstruct a decaying wall within a basketball court. The court has recently had a refurbished floor complying to England Basketball standards however during a recent inspection, it was found that the exterior walls require reconfiguration to ensure the court remains playable and a viable community asset. This project will fix a house wrap internally on the outside wall overlapped from the top down so any water penetration will be managed and directed to ground behind the outside wall preserving a new internal wall from water ingress. Without these works, the walls with continue to deteriorate and this will have a negative impact the health and wellbeing of the local community..
