The Branch Garden

We are aiming to create a multifunctional garden space where individuals and families can ignite and develop a connection with their natural surroundings, helping them foster a desire to nurture and protect the beautiful environment around them, whilst receiving the positive mental health benefits of being in touch with the natural world.

Through this garden we will be able to help individuals translate this interest, through practical training, into vocational horticultural opportunities, in partnership with local businesses. The garden will be helping with social prescribing and other health referrals.

The activities and projects in the garden will include Therapeutic horticulture, Intergenerational work, Youth engagement/Apprenticeship Read, Hollistic Family work, Volunteering, Connect Café, Community Kitchen
