The Coal Vaults, Coventry – Building Refurbishment, Infrared Heating and New Wildlife Planters (008049)

The project is to create a welcoming façade to the site by refurbishing the frontage of the Coal Vaults, which is currently in a serious state of disrepair, and area between that and our community space, by creating a movable nature garden on wheels.

The project involves removing existing cladding and rotten frames around the vaults, replacing and recladding the frames. We will have four raised beds on wheels, which can be relocated into different positions, according to the needs for different events.

The project will also replace fan heaters with 4 more infrared heaters in the venue
