The Coddenham Centre – Solar Panels

The Coddenham Centre supports the health and wellbeing of a wide community. It does this in an environmentally responsible way, leading by example. Following a successful air source heating project, it wishes to become further self sustaining, by the capture of solar energy.
This project is for the purchase and installation of solar panels, plus battery storage, which is expected to meet a current consumption of 30,000kWH per annum and achieve an estimated doubling of our carbon saving.
The charity believes we all need to contribute to the UK’s zero carbon objectives. We wish to increase our contribution by adopting solar power. There is also now an increasing economic imperative, as the Centre expects its current supply fixed rate to quadruple in 2023, threatening its viability.
