The Community Atrium, St John’s Methodist Church, Wolverhampton

The project involves the demolition of the church’s 60-year-old brick entrance and rundown internal ladies toilet block and replacing it will a light-filled glass atrium. The gent’s toilet block located on the side of this area is also in very poor condition and will be converted into a separate men’s and ladies’ toilet and completely modernised. The new constructed atrium will have new doors, flooring, LED lighting, canopy, and re-decoration and when complete will be used daily be various community groups for a wide range of activities. ECT is being approached to fund the new toilets, steelworks and front entrance.
