The Community sports fields Project

The need for local sports, health and wellbeing facilities is growing, you simply cannot beat being outdoors, whether spectating, partaking, or supporting. We have created welcoming facilities, open to all, 12 months of the year in a growing local population. We currently have over 2000 individuals that both visit and use our club. We have the ability to double this figure to 4000 people in the coming year, however in the area that we serve there are not enough of these facilities accessible to meet the needs.

This application is purely around the flood lighting aspects that will be required both now and in future when the 3G pitch and other surfaces are being delivered.

This will mean we can really open up the availability and use of the club in the next 6 months. Providing facility use through the dark winter months, when realistically from Nov to March it’s too dark after 4.30pm.
