The Daniel Adamson Preservation Society

The aims of the project are to restore the steam powered tug/tender, the Daniel Adamson to working order and provide a unique experience for the public, school parties and trainee engineers to appreciate the engineering of yesteryear and to preserve a unique part of the shipbuilding heritage of Merseyside. We aim to restore her and put her into service with a Class V passenger carrying certificate. She will operate trips on the River Mersey, the River Weaver and the Manchester Ship Canal.
