The Development of Community Performing Arts Facilities in Upwood

To develop the facilities in Upwood Village Hall to enhance provision for community arts projects already existing in the village as well as enabling new projects to be undertaken by new and existing groups

The project aims to maximise the use of the hall by community groups as well as attract touring cultural and performing companies.

This will be achieved by installing a) light weight modular staging system; b ) stage lights and associated equipment; c) permanent ‘mezzanine-type’ floor; d) safe and secure storage for all equipment and e) Modular tiered seating.
