The Doward Nature Reserves – Woodland Management

The Doward Reserves consists of a small group of connected nature reserves that are a mosaic of woodland, coppice and species-rich grassland habitats.
This project will enable us to work with volunteers to carry out coppicing, woodland thinning and scrub management. It will also provide for deer fencing to protect the young coppice from browsing.
