The Easby Riverside Project

The project is to reinforce part of the river bank that accomodates a public trail that links the Easby Abbey and Richmond Castle which are both popular attractions for visitors and the local community. The public trail has been eroding into the river for several years and continuously has to be moved further away from the bank. However, now appropriate reinforcement is required to prevent this public footpath from being closed permanently
