The Ecological Enhancement of Queen Mary’s Gardens Lake, The Regent’s Park

The project aims to create a more ecologically functional system by improving water quality, removing the hard sterile edging of the lake and establising a varied zone of marginal planting including reedbed habitat. The desired outome is to raise the conservation status of the area so that it supports a greater number and diversity of species and acts as a valuable stepping stone in a network of standing water habitats.
