The Ercall Nature Reserve - access repair works

The Ercall is a public nature reserve. One of the main access routes into the reserve is up a vehicle track which has been eroded by water run-off from a series of storm events over the past few years.

The track currently has large gullies making the reserve inaccessible to some members of the public. The gullies need to be infilled, and a slight camber reinstated to make sure the water runs off the track into the adjacent drainage ditches to prevent further erosion and ensure the site remains accessible for the public.
