The Family Church, Wigan - Replacement Doors and Pond Refurbishment (008269)

The current front door and fire exits are outdated and do not allow easy access for all visitors with mobility issues, prams or wheelchairs. The replacement of the doors is the first stage in providing a more welcoming space as well as having a positive impact on the environment, creating a more energy efficient building. Additionally, funding is required to restore and enhance the existing pond area as a peaceful area that supports both local wildlife and community wellbeing. The renovation of the pond will focus on maintaining and improving the current natural environment.
