The Father of Modern Forensics: An Exhibition Celebrating the Life and Work of Sir Bernard Spilsbury

The National Justice Museum is housed within a Grade II* building, which represents a rich history of the development of crime, punishment and justice from Saxon times to the 20th Century.

In a new exhibition located in the Museum’s Edwardian Police Station, we would like to tell the story of Spilsbury’s life and lasting contribution to forensic science.

The exhibition will feature hands-on interactives and audio-visuals which will tell the story of Spilsbury’s life and achievements; enabling children and young people to explore the key developments and evolution of forensic science which led to the development of modern policing and forensic sciences; shaping the world we live in today.
