The Faversham War Memorial Project

To publically recognise those killed in and after 2 World Wars. To create stone tablets inscribed with their names. To restore the garden and its furniture and fencing To enable disability and better public access.
To create an enhanced English country garden surrounding the tablets.
Funding to support the creation of the tablets, garden and garden furniture, ie part funding for the whole project.

The Faversham War Memorial is almost unique in that it does not include names and as a grade2 listed monument it cannot be altered. There are many relatives in Faversham who would wish to see this. We have consulted widely .If not undertaken Faversham would loose part of its heritage.
