Public amenity currently used by over 700,000 visitors each year & with projected audiences rising to 1 million plus, the Gateway entrance & centre will provide a new & greatly improved facilities for the general public. These will include the main focus for biodiversity interpretation, all weather cover, activity areas, dedicated biodiversity garden, sensory mini-gardens, orientation/information hub to the 31 hectares of botanic garden itself, education room, exhibitions, improved toilets, increased shop and catering areas. All of which will enable the public to enjoy a far more informative & comfortable experience at the Garden all year round
