The Goggin – Visitor interpretation, access and livestock fencing

The Goggin is a large, recently acquired nature reserve in the north of the County, near Richards Castle. It is good quality limestone grassland with some woody copses and old hedgerows. The grassland has deteriorated in recent years through lack of management and grazing in particular.
This project will enable us to install fences to allow grazing whilst protecting the hedgerows as well as provide an interpretation board and gates so that we can open the nature reserve to the public.
