The Hamlet at Three Sisters Recreational Area, Hope School and College, Wigan

This is a project to establish a community enterprise, featuring a community café, which provides support and training for young adults with additional needs. Set up under the umbrella of Hope School and College, The Hamlet will set up work based programmes/businesses that young people with additional needs will run. Creating individual programmes of training by well-trained, experienced, dedicated and motivated staff team through ‘real-life’ employment and business opportunities within a community based environment. The Hamlet is based off site at one of Wigan’s beauty spots; The Three Sisters Recreational area site is open to the wider community all year round and therefore we are not only providing a service for our young adults but also preserving and providing a service to the local community that has been highlighted as a need.
