The Hillocks Regeneration

Our aim is to regenerate a community park to its original status as it had fell in to an overgrown neglected area. With the help of local lads and other residents we have tidied, weeded, crowned the trees, planted bulbs and mixed seeds. We would now like to instate a nature trail with points of interest, install lighting, litter bins and upgrade the play equipment and at the same time fence the play area off in order for it to be safe from any fouling by stray dogs, fox’s etc.
This project has already achieved an increased value of social cohesion and anti-social behaviour has dropped substantially.
