The Hub

Jigsaw Environmental (Gisburn) will seek to champion and promote environmental best practice, by education and encouragement of several sectors of society, ensuring that the quality of life of the region and country is enhanced. The site at The Hub will be used as an exemplar of best practice. The target audience and visitors will include adults that have been economically and socially excluded from the workplace, school age young people, businesses, the agricultural sector, the voluntary sector, the general public. Visitors will be empowered to learn by example through site visits. The site will be opened up to the public at least three times per week. This project will build upon an already successful programme that supports excluded groups through organic crop production and training programmes
