The HUBB Civil Defence Hall Renovation

This project will involve the second phase of refurbishment of the old civil defence community hall for the benefit of all reasidents living in the Shore Road area of North Belfast. This will enhance a facility for the wider community but especially for pensioners and the youth of the area. The need for the project has been identified through extensive community consultation and will provide a suitable meeting place for socialising, meetings, recraetion and youth provision. It will be an area for statutory agencies to meet the local community, access education, traininga nd personal development. In doing so the project aims to bring the community together and increase community and social cohesion.
