The Hunslet Club – Changing Facilities

The Hunslet Club has been in existence for seventy years and it provides a range of health, sports, arts, learning and leisure activities to meet the needs of the community.

Although the Club already has two changing rooms for males and females, it needs to provide two more in order to segregate children from adults within the venue. The lack of suitable facilities means that, despite having the capacity to run different sports, dance and drama activities at the site, they are unable to include ones which would require adults and children to be changing at the same time. The aim is to purchase a portakabin consisting of two large changing rooms for male and female users as well as a smaller referee room. These will have showers and heating and will be used seven days a week (throughout the day and evening) by a wide variety of age groups for sports and arts activities.
