The Illumination Gallery

1. To ignite the power of the Museum’s historic lamp collection and its stories, through the life and achievements of Sir Humphry Davy, and widen access to previously stored collections. 2. To inspire curiosity and interest about STEM with our key target audiences, including families and young people. 3. To revitalise and make improvements to the Museum’s public galleries with new approaches towards design and interpretation. 4. Share project learning with the wider museum community through established professional networks. 5. To develop new STEM activities for formal and informal learners through the creation of an immersive exhibition and learning space.
