The Kaleyard Community Food and Wildlife Garden in Beveridge Park

The energy and initiative for this project has come from local people living around the park who want to have an opportunity for their children to have more opportunity to interact with nature and the out-doors, to support a more bio-diverse natural local environment and a place to learn about growing their own food. The garden is being developed in two phases on a former park depot – a food garden (which started in May 2013 enabled by funding from Awards for All) and the wildlife garden which we have had a provisional offer of a grant for from Fife Environment Trust.
