The Knoll Playground Refurbishment

The current play area at The Knoll was built in 1993. The existing equipment has now deteriorated and some has been removed for Health and Safety reasons.

The project will involve the refurbishment of the playground to create a safe but exciting, up to date facility that meets the needs of children of all age groups and abilities. The scheme will include equipment aimed at toddler and junior age ranges but which will also provide a stimulating environment for older children. Safer surfacing and landscaping will also be incorporated along with modern equipment such as new swings, nets, spinner bowl, roundabout and multi-use Palace Fortress.
