The Leckhampton Village Hall Re- roofing Project

Professional advice from both a builder and a surveyor recommended a complete re-roofing project. Ingress of water from cracked and broken 100 year old tiles has caused damage to the fabric of this grade 11 listed building. Local planning authorities insist on the roof being re- tiled in genuine Cotswold stone slates – ‘Like for Like’. New tiles are prohibitively expensive and it is the aim of the management committee to have the work carried out using reclaimed and salvaged Cotswold stone slates so that the hall may continue to be used for the next 100 years.
