The Lee Jones Community Centre, Liverpool – New Gym Flooring (005751)

This project will see the gym floor renewal of the Lee Jones Community Centre (LJCC) a large community facility in the Scotland Road area of Liverpool. It is an inner-city area that experiences severe deprivation. Within the centre an old canteen area has been converted to a boxing / fitness club.The floor is covered in the old lino type tiles which are in very poor condition.
England Boxing have advised that the floor is unfit for purpose and needs a new 20mm non slip surface installing. The new floor will also benefit the differing user groups that have started to access the Gym.
