The Linklater Pavilion

We wish to construct a building at the entrance to the railway land local nature reserve in Lewes, Sussex which will enable people to capture, understand and celebrate aspects of their local environment and systems on which we all depend. Individuals, community groups, schools and people with learning difficulties will be centrally involved in these activities. The building has been designed to maximise its flexibility for use by community groups of all ages from playgroups to the University of The Third Age. It will be robust enough to accommodate wet play and a range of art and craft and music activities as well as providing for quiet study by individuals or groups.
