The Linskill & North Tyneside Community Development Trust

At Linskill we promote education and learning that will encourage the enhancement of civic values, we provide a safe environment for young people to meet for recreational activities, and provide a supportive environment for those people who might be marginalised through illness, disability or other circumstances. We encourage elderly residents to become active and valued citizens and provide the facility for the community to help itself by promoting the sharing of skills / knowledge and intellectual capital. We also support other voluntary sector organisations in their work in the community. The aims of the trust include – to promote equality of access and opportunity and promote community cohesion also to promote both financial and knowledge based inward investment.
