The Lowry Quays Theatre Seat Refurbishment

To fully refurbish all of 440 seats in our mid-scale theatre venue, The Quays. The existing auditorium seats are 25 years old, and despite them being structurally sound, they are in desperate need of refurbishment. The fabric is stained and torn, seat padding is no longer comfortable and arm rests have no padding. Our project will see each seat stripped of the old fabric and padding, and fully reupholstered with new padding and seating covers. This will futureproof this space and support the sustainability of our organisation. It will ensure we continue to provide the very best facilities to attract a world-class range of artists and performers, and provide high quality and comfortable experiences for our audiences and community groups alike.
