The Missing Link

The project aims to replace an old delapitated shipping container with a new storage garage. The original siting of the container was opposed by many higher echelons of the council but was eventually agreed as a stop gap, the container has been on the site for 12 years. Several attempts have been made to improve the visual impact but it is generally regarded as an eyesore, frequent attempts to clear the area surrounding the container have been made but it has become a dumping ground for unwanted items eg. old machinery, grass cuttings, littter etc. In recent months it has become a favourite location for fly tipping with all the environmental conerns that follow.
