The Naseby Battlefield Project

To provide interpretation and improve access and at 5 strategic locations of the Naseby Battlefield site to expose the hidden history and wide ranging social and political consequences of the most important battle ever fought on British soil. The project will fund important open air viewing points, interpretation signage, and pathway access improvements to the viewing points. All sites are freely open to the public at all times.
This grant is towards Phase 1 of a much larger overall project. East Midlands Tourist Board are also providing funds towards Phase 1. Phase 2 of the project will be to create a visitor centre on the site.
