The Old Pilkingtons Sports Grounds Restoration Project

The purpose of the project is to redevelop the former Pilkington sports grounds which had fallen into disuse. The redevelopment will furtherassist the associations main aim of promoting sporting activities within the Barnby Dun and Kirk Sandall area. There are no other facilities within the proximity of Barnby Dun and Kirk Sandall. Currently the association is facilitating the provision of the grounds with minimal resources which are very basic.

LTCS money will be used to purchase a triple reel mower to maintain preserve the sports ground. This will allow the association to expand the number of participants using the gronds which will lead to more junior and senior football and cricket
