The Old School House, Boscombe – Installation of a Ground Source Heat Pump

The building is located in Boscombe, one of the most deprived areas of the country and provides space for community use for all ages and abilities. However, for at least 5 months of the year, the building becomes too cold to run many activities, particularly for elderly groups and families with young children. Whilst the building is a much loved local heritage building, poor insulation and lack of adequate heating makes it a challenge to operate in the winter months. This project will improve the energy efficiency of the The Old School House community building and create space for local community to use throughout the year.
